WHAT TIME IS FLAVOUR?

The North Island’s Gourmet Picnic will take place at Coastal Black Estate Winery on Sunday, September 18th, 2016 from 1 to 4 pm.

WHERE CAN I GET TICKETS?

Tickets for Flavour 2016 are now sold out.

ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?

Sorry, there are no refunds for tickets. The event will occur rain or shine.

WHAT IF MY TICKET IS DAMAGED, LOST OR STOLEN?

Treat your tickets with care, as they will not be replaced if they are lost, stolen or damaged.

WHERE DOES THE BUS SHUTTLE BUS FROM?

Bus shuttle tickets to Flavour may be purchased online with departure locations as follows:

Courtenay Bus Shuttle

Leaves from North Island College, Parking Lot B, 2300 Ryan Road in Courtenay. View a map of this location.

  • Please arrive at 12:15 to depart at 12:30 pm
  • Returning buses leave Coastal Black at 3:15 pm and 4:15 pm

Campbell River Bus Shuttle

WILL THERE BE PARKING FOR MY BIKE?

Parking is limited and carpooling or riding your bike to the event is encouraged. Space will be provided for bike lock-up.

IS THERE A TASTING ETIQUETTE?

The event is an opportunity to try new things, sample delicious food and connect with chefs, farmers, producers, brewers, and vintners. Please consider food and time are donated for the event; please be respectful to the generous offerings of the exhibitors.
There will be water available to guests.

WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED?

Yes, all ticket holders must be 19 years of age for entry. Please bring your ID to ensure your access to the festival.

CAN I BRING MY PET?

FoodSafe regulations do not allow pets on-site. Only guide dogs will be permitted.

CAN I BRING MY CIGARETTES?

This is a no-smoking event.

SHOULD I BRING CASH?

There will be raffle tickets and other giving opportunities to support NIC students. There is NO bank machine on site.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

Proceeds from Flavour support the purchase of new technology and equipment for student use in North Island College classrooms, studios and shops. The impact of these educational gifts will benefit countless students in our community for years to come. Partial proceeds are also distributed to the North Island Chefs’ Association to support educational and professional development activities for new chefs.
